When my friend Alexis spoke with me about doing a patriotic sister shoot, I knew I was immediately on board. Seriously, how fun is learning my hobby and building a portfolio?? With her two girls, and my little birdie in tow, we headed to our friend Bridgette’s house to get the rustic look that Alexis loves. (Thanks again Bridgette!!) I have never really taken photos of school age children so it was fun to play with posing and see Alyssa’s reactions to me and the camera- and the super fun red, white, and blue confetti!
These two girls are just GORGEOUS! THIS is the beauty in life. THIS is what is worth my time and focus. Seeing my friends take in this beautiful girl from a terrible situation and raise her as their own is nothing short of amazing. I have loved watching their family grow and I know the bond between Alyssa and Scarlett is going to be unbreakable. Happy Adoption Alyssa- you are so very loved! and Happy 4 Months doll baby!
